Who is Claudio Galuppini

Claudio Galuppini is one of the entrepreneurs who believed in padel when the sport was still relatively unknown in Italy. Today his company, Italian Padel, specializes in the design and production of padel courts and has contributed to the construction of numerous sports facilities both in Italy and abroad.

During the interview on Radio Deejay, Galuppini explained how his journey in the world of padel began in 2015, when he discovered the sport for the first time. The following year he decided to completely transform his business and dedicate it to the production of padel courts.

From Metalworking to Padel

Before entering the sports sector, Galuppini’s company operated in the metalworking industry. After the economic crisis of 2008, the entrepreneur decided to completely reinvent his business.

The inspiration came after trying padel with his children. On that occasion he realized that it was a sport capable of bringing together people of different ages and skill levels, allowing everyone to have fun and play together. From that moment, the company’s transformation toward the world of padel began.

A Global Phenomenon

During the broadcast, the international growth of this sport was also discussed. Today padel is played all over the world, and Italy is among the countries with the highest number of courts.

According to Galuppini, the company has already built courts in around 40 countries, with projects ranging from Europe to the United States, and reaching as far as the Caribbean and Australia.

Among the most iconic projects mentioned during the interview are the courts built in Dubai Marina, installed directly over the water and considered among the most spectacular facilities in the industry.

Padel Between Sport and Community

During the interview on Radio Deejay, Galuppini emphasized that padel is not just a business but also a social phenomenon. According to the entrepreneur, one of the most important aspects of the sport is its ability to create communities and shared moments.

This very characteristic has contributed to its rapid spread in recent years, making padel one of the most accessible and inclusive sports.

The Future of Italian Padel

Looking ahead, the company’s goal is to continue expanding internationally. Among the projects currently in development is the expansion into new markets and the creation of new collaborations to bring padel to even more countries.

With its global popularity continuing to grow and increasing interest from athletes, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts, padel seems destined to establish itself as one of the most popular sports in the coming years.
